Surgical Technologist PRN

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Putnam Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist PRN, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently deliver high-quality customer service and patient care, demonstrating respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every interaction.
- Champion the mission, vision, and values of HCA Florida Putnam Hospital, adhering to policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
- Prepare the operating room suite with the necessary equipment, supplies, and safety items.
- Assist with surgical procedures, including setting up the sterile field, passing instruments, and anticipating the needs of the surgical team.
- Maintain accurate records throughout the procedure and ensure correct labeling and handling of surgical specimens and medications.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- One or more years of experience as an OR Surgical Technologist preferred.
- Membership in the CST association preferred.
- Current CPR certification as a Basic Rescuer is a must.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
- CST certification preferred, to perform as a Surgical First Assistant must have a Certification as a CSFA – Certified Surgical First Assistant.
