Job Responsibilities and Qualifications- Uphold Putnam Hospital's standards of service excellence and quality in all job functions.
- Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, Medical Imaging, perform diagnostic C.T. examinations to guarantee quality results.
- Under the supervision of the Operations Manager, Medical Imaging, conduct routine radiologic diagnostic exams to ensure high-quality images.
- Verify patient identity and review patient charts and previous imaging studies for consistency (exam ordered/clinical diagnosis), documenting relevant information on the patient's requisition.
- Evaluate patient condition and ensure safety through appropriate use of immobilization and support devices.
- Consistently provide exceptional customer service and patient care. As a team member, demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in every interaction with patients, families, visitors, and colleagues.
- Always confirm physician orders before completing examinations.
- Perform routine radiography following the procedure manual, accommodating any special instructions from the Radiologist or the patient's physician.
- Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist.
- Graduate of a Radiology Technology program.
- Registered ARRT (R) required; (CT) preferred.
- Minimum one year of hospital experience.
- BLS certification to be renewed bi-annually.
