Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Landscaping Specialist to join our team at Presbyterian Home for CNY. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds and facilities of our organization, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain lawns, grounds, shrubs, trees, and flower beds to ensure a visually appealing and well-manicured environment.
  • Operate and maintain various landscaping equipment, including lawn mowers, weed trimmers, and lawn clippers.
  • Perform general landscaping tasks, such as raking, trimming, and pruning, as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in landscaping or grounds maintenance preferred.
  • Valid New York State Driver's license required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions
  • Work will be performed primarily outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
  • May be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
