We are currently looking for a skilled A&P Mechanic with experience in Lear 60 jets to assist with our operations at Modesto Airport on an as-needed basis. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections, troubleshoot issues, and perform necessary repairs.
  • Interpret and analyze technical documents, maintenance manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics, company policies, and Federal Aviation Regulations.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms, including the ability to understand safety guidelines and operational manuals.
  • Execute basic mathematical tasks as required.
  • Perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
  • Work in potentially noisy environments.
  • Conduct minor maintenance on ground support equipment as necessary.
  • Work outdoors and adapt to varying weather conditions.
  • Operate near moving mechanical parts and aircraft safely.
  • Sign off on maintenance actions performed.
  • Tow aircraft as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Fulfill additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of an FAA mechanic's certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience with Learjet aircraft is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb ladders, and navigate around aircraft.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment DOT drug screening and other necessary background checks.
  • Capability to obtain an airport SIDA badge.
  • Willingness to work various shifts, including overtime and after-hour call-outs as needed.
  • Required to own and maintain a set of tools suitable for aircraft maintenance.
