In your role as a Mechanical Project Engineer, you will collaborate closely with the Senior Project Engineer and/or Principal Engineer to oversee the creation of project documentation while coordinating with architects, engineers, and technicians. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting HVAC load assessments
  • Designing HVAC and plumbing systems
  • Coordinating team assignments
  • Managing project budgets and financial reporting
  • Engaging with industry suppliers

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent experience; a Master's degree is a plus but not mandatory.
  • 3-10 years of experience as a Professional Mechanical Engineer providing mechanical design services for building projects.
  • Proficient in all phases of construction document preparation, with documented leadership skills preferred.
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Efficient in managing personal time, including task prioritization and completion.
  • Self-driven and committed to personal and organizational growth.
  • Experience with AutoCAD/Revit drafting tools.
  • Possesses sound judgment and can provide rationale for decisions made.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Mechanical Engineer (P.E.) in California or eligibility to obtain licensure in California within six months of hire.

Compensation & Benefits

The anticipated salary range for this position is $110,000-140,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.
