Senior Field Service Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Specialist to join our team at Ace Industries, Inc.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing top-notch installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair services for hoist and crane equipment. They will also be expected to uphold the highest level of professional integrity and ethics, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
This is a full-time position that requires excellent communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and experience with crane and hoist systems.
About the Role- Provide exceptional service to customers by troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting overhead cranes and hoists, as well as below-the-hook devices and other lifting equipment.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance activities on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Support customers by effectively communicating with them and the office to resolve issues promptly.
- Evaluate and recommend required repairs for customers, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by examining complaints, identifying solutions, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.
- Service overhead crane systems by performing quality installations, conducting OSHA/ANSI equivalent inspections, documenting and completing warranty work, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to emergency service/breakdown calls.
- Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, and inspection checklists.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in crane and hoist maintenance, installation, and repair.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA/ANSI regulations and standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work at heights.
