Job Summary
The Restaurant Operations Manager plays a crucial role in leading the Sully's Steamers establishment, ensuring adherence to operational guidelines and protocols. This position reports directly to the General Manager or Assistant General Manager.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain company standards and service levels to boost sales while minimizing expenses, including food, beverage, supplies, utilities, and labor costs.
  • Implement sanitary practices for food handling, uphold cleanliness, and ensure the maintenance of kitchen and dining areas. Additionally, maintain a professional restaurant image, including cleanliness, appropriate uniforms, and appearance standards.
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, and all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
  • Oversee the preparation and service of consistently high-quality food.
  • Foster positive guest experiences in all areas. Address complaints effectively, taking necessary actions to convert dissatisfied guests into loyal patrons.
  • Guide employees on operational and procedural matters.
  • Monitor employee performance on assigned tasks and provide training during shifts.
  • Support employee development through ongoing feedback and the establishment of performance expectations.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer applications (MS Word, Excel, Google Suite).
  • Knowledgeable in various aspects of restaurant operations, including food planning and preparation, security, company policies, and personnel management.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States.
  • Willingness to undergo a background check is required.
