Key Responsibilities

As a Staff Accountant, your duties will include reviewing, analyzing, reconciling, and updating the financial statements and management reports for NVR Building Products. Your responsibilities will encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Preparing and reviewing financial statements, including the creation of journal entries.
  • Conducting monthly balance sheet reconciliations, which include inventory balances and fixed assets.
  • Independently preparing and reviewing internal management reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Engaging with operational department personnel to gather explanations and support for account balances.
  • Pricing and costing of housing packages, including new homes and modifications to existing homes.
  • Calculating and collecting rebates, which involves reviewing contracts to ensure earned rebates are received.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Preferred 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced team environment, maintaining professionalism
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
