Clinical Coach Coordinator Nurse

This position is located in the Nursing Education Branch of the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. The Clinical Coach Coordinator Nurse will provide a structured clinical coach preceptor program to support the delivery of orientation to new nurses, ensuring they receive adequate preparation to function independently and facilitate their transition to assigned departments/units.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct in-service training to healthcare workers on topics such as performance improvement, policies, and procedures.
- Perform needs analysis to plan and develop a nursing education program.
- Evaluate education as it relates to preceptorship and work with hospital regulatory agencies.
To qualify for this position, you must have a graduate or higher level degree, bachelor's degree, associate degree, or diploma from an accredited professional nursing educational program. You must also have a current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
Preferred Qualifications- At least one full year of professional nursing experience.
- Experience conducting in-service training, performing needs analysis, and evaluating education as it relates to preceptorship.
