Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Payment Strategy Manager to join our team at Walmart. As a key contributor to our US Marketplace Business, you will play a critical role in growing our payment operations and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute payment strategies to expand our payment options and enhance the payment experience for our sellers.
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to launch and support payment partners, ensuring seamless integration and execution.
  • Lead the development of business strategies and drive execution for fintech products and value-added services, such as FX, supplier, and cross-border payments.
  • Facilitate global tax and payment compliance, collaborating with internal tax stakeholders and partners to understand requirements and changes in the tax and payment compliance landscape.
  • Leverage data to define and execute strategies for data sharing and risk management, collaborating with stakeholders on data initiatives to enable actionable recommendations.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of industry experience in payments and/or financial services or a similar space, with data analysis and reporting experience.
  • Master's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with industry/category trends and ecommerce markets.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and prior experience working with Product and Technology teams.
  • Data-driven approach with understanding of SQL and working with large datasets.
  • Able to understand vendor technical specifications, including API documentation, on a high level.
  • Stimulated by challenges and ready to engage at Fortune 1 scale.
  • Strong analytical aptitude, using data and analysis to drive business decisions.
