About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Devices Business Manager to join our team at Amazon Lab126. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the business relationship with our Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) suppliers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the sourcing, selection, contract negotiation, and management of EMS suppliers in alignment with our overarching EMS strategy.
  • Ensure a competitive sourcing environment leading to continuous improvement in engineering services, line readiness, quality, business management, contract management, and adherence, delivery, cost, and social responsibility.
  • Actively engage with Device Operations and Engineering organizations with EMS suppliers to achieve programmatic objectives.
  • Lead the commercial and contractual aspects of the relationship and drive multifunctional teams relative to EMS suppliers involvement.
  • Lead EMS supplier performance management and lead cross-functional business reviews.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 5+ years of working cross-functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience.
  • 5+ years of managing, analyzing, and communicating results to senior leadership experience.
  • 7+ years of supply chain experience, including managing suppliers and leading supply chain sourcing processes.
  • Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving standardization.
  • Experience defining program execution requirements, and using data and metrics to determine improvements.
  • Excellent negotiation and executive supplier management skills.
About the Team

The Devices Business Management (DBM) team is responsible for the business relationship with EMS suppliers. We collaborate cross-functionally with Product Operations, Engineering, Quality, legal, and Finance throughout the product life cycle to innovate, design for cost and quality, and ensure timely delivery.
