Job Summary

As a Senior Manager of Finance, you will provide essential leadership and support to the Finance team, with a primary focus on sales, marketing, and customer success operations.

Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a pivotal role in managing the top-line financial aspects of the company, collaborating closely with Sales, Revenue, and other key stakeholders to drive financial strategies, manage the pipeline from bookings to revenue, and ensure effective financial planning and analysis.

This high-impact role involves overseeing the financial performance of sales-related functions, driving revenue growth, and optimizing financial operations.

The Senior Manager of Finance will take ownership of sales, marketing, and customer success finances, while also managing some underlying expenses.

This position requires strong business acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships across various departments.

You will also be responsible for reporting and data management using tools such as Salesforce and Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Own the top-line financial responsibilities of Jumio, including overseeing all sales, marketing, and customer success finances
  2. Collaborate with Sales, Revenue, and other departments to manage the pipeline from bookings to revenue
  3. Ensure alignment with the CFO and other stakeholders on financial goals and strategies
  4. Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes
  5. Manage and run financial reports in Salesforce and Excel
  6. Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial data to ensure accuracy and reliability
  7. Identify trends and provide actionable insights to drive business performance
  8. Monitor and manage expenses related to sales, marketing, and customer success functions
  9. Foster strong relationships with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment on financial goals
  10. Communicate financial results and strategies effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
  11. Work closely with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and budgeting activities
  12. Act as a trusted advisor to the CFO and other senior leaders on financial matters
  13. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency
  14. Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
  15. Support the CFO in managing the overall financial health of the company
  16. Lead or participate in special projects as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in finance, preferably with a focus on sales and revenue management
  • Experience in a transaction-based company is preferred
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel; experience with NetSuite is a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with sales and other departments
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
What We Offer

The hiring range for this position is from $167,000 to $189,000. This is based on Jumio's geographical salary band for the role.
