Lex Machina Account Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Manager to join our team at LexisNexis Legal & Professional. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing revenue growth by retaining and selling Lex Machina products to Corporate Legal Departments.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate and renegotiate contracts to achieve aligned objectives
- Identify, target, and maximize revenue and growth opportunities
- Plan and manage your territory or account approach, and utilize your resources effectively
- Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts and decision-makers
- Ensure customer needs are met by gathering insights and reporting progress towards goals
- Take ownership of the overall health and status of the customer relationship
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activity
- Provide customer feedback to internal partners regarding product or content issues
- Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to convey market insights and sales initiatives
- Work cross-functionally to deliver on common goals
- Proven experience in sales and account management in a business-to-business environment
- Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and closing business
- Experience interacting with C-level corporate executives
- Solid understanding and use of strategic selling techniques and CRM systems
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively partner and collaborate across teams and externally
- Occasional travel (less than 10% of the time)
