About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Client Manager to join our team at LexisNexis Legal & Professional. As a Client Manager, you will be responsible for managing revenue growth by retaining and selling Lex Machina products to Corporate Legal Departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Negotiate and renegotiate contracts to achieve aligned objectives
  • Identify, target, and maximize revenue and growth opportunities
  • Plan and manage your territory or account approach, and utilize your resources effectively
  • Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts and decision-makers
  • Ensure customer needs are met by gathering insights and reporting progress towards goals
  • Take ownership of the overall health and status of the customer relationship
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity
  • Provide customer feedback to internal partners regarding product or content issues
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales leadership to convey market insights and sales initiatives
  • Work cross-functionally to deliver on common goals
Requirements
  • Proven experience in sales and account management in a business-to-business environment
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating contracts and closing business
  • Experience interacting with C-level corporate executives
  • Solid understanding and use of strategic selling techniques and CRM systems
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to effectively partner and collaborate across teams and externally
  • Occasional travel (less than 10% of the time)
