Collaborate with a diverse team to transform innovative concepts into tangible products, overseeing the entire process from initial design to final production.

Develop and execute comprehensive assembly verification and system validation protocols to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
Draft detailed requirements, functional specifications, design verification plans, and testing procedures.

Take full ownership of projects, guiding them through all phases from conception and design to manufacturing, testing, and ongoing product management.

Proactively identify and resolve engineering challenges throughout the project lifecycle, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.

Utilize GD&T principles to articulate design intentions, ensuring that manufacturing and assembly processes meet established tolerances and quality benchmarks.
Analyze performance data from the field to pinpoint improvement opportunities and implement design enhancements for increased reliability of robotic systems.
Work closely with production teams to refine designs for manufacturability, ensuring efficient and scalable production workflows.

Leverage your expertise in various manufacturing techniques, including CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, injection molding, and additive manufacturing, to boost the efficiency of robotic system production.

Required Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field with a minimum of 7 years of experience in the design and development of robotic or mechatronic systems.

Essential Skills & Experience:
In-depth knowledge of electro-mechanical design principles, including structural and thermal analysis.
Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles as they apply to product design.
Expertise in selecting and integrating motors, encoders, and sensors into robotic systems.

Proficient in SolidWorks or similar CAD software, with experience in advanced assemblies and complex configuration management.

Hands-on experience in creating functional prototypes and proof-of-concept models.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effectively conveying technical information.

Proven ability to manage projects through their entire lifecycle while meeting established milestones.
Capability to assess and analyze design trade-offs for hardware systems and architectures.

Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Product Data Management (PDM) systems is preferred.

Preferred Skills & Experience:
Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Familiarity with FEA and CFD tools.
Experience with Design for Excellence (DFX) principles and understanding of human-centered design and ergonomics.

Strong organizational skills and a collaborative approach to work.
Knowledge of robot safety standards and experience in facilitating compliance processes.

Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
