Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Gastroenterology Staff Physician to join our team at the University of Miami Health System. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide direct outpatient care to GI patients and maintain outpatient and endoscopic procedures at Uhealth Doral.
Essential Job Functions:
- Provide direct outpatient care to GI patients primarily at the Uhealth Doral Location.
- Provide outpatient clinical and endoscopic services for patients requiring Gastroenterology/Hepatology services or screening procedures.
- Maintain outpatient and endoscopic procedures at Uhealth Doral.
Desired Qualifications:
- MD/DO Degree.
- ACGME US Internal Medicine residency.
- BE/BC in Internal Medicine.
- BE/BC in Gastroenterology.
- Valid unrestricted Florida Medical License or eligible to apply.
- Must be able to provide prerequisite case logs for procedures for prior two years for credentialing.
- Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques.
- Must maintain CME to meet institutional and state licensing requirements.
- Must have excellent clinical knowledge and experience to provide safe and quality care to patients and meet institutional standards of care.
- Current BLS certification required. ACLS.
- Valid DEA licensure.
