Staff Registered Nurse Gastroenterology Specialist

University of Miami is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Gastroenterology Staff to join our team in Doral, Florida.
Job Summary:The Registered Nurse Gastroenterology Staff will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients with gastrointestinal disorders. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:- Assess and evaluate patients with gastrointestinal disorders, developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting health literacy and empowering them to take an active role in their care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices that enhance patient outcomes.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse License
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in a gastroenterology setting
