Key Responsibilities
  • Assess damaged vehicles and develop efficient repair strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to communicate the status of vehicle repairs.
  • Execute high-quality repairs while adhering to timelines.
  • Evaluate whether to repair or replace parts, prioritizing safety, cost-effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Disassemble vehicle components to access areas requiring repair.
  • Participate in mandatory safety meetings to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Utilize power and hand tools to file, grind, and sand repaired surfaces.
  • Guide apprentices in their tasks, addressing any unusual challenges and clarifying procedures.

Qualifications
  • Preferred certification in automotive body repair.
  • Familiarity with the vehicle repair processes specific to various manufacturers.
  • ICAR welding certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills for interpreting measurement data.
  • Ability to oversee and mentor repair staff.
  • Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
