Collision Estimator Job Description

At Caliber Collision Centers, we are seeking a skilled Collision Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing all-purpose duties, which may include:

  • Writing accurate and detailed estimates
  • Conducting process reviews and quality checks
  • Checking in customer vehicles and completing final paperwork
  • Finalizing total loss administration and providing post-repair plan communication

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of collision estimating experience; sales experience preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under our company insurance

Abilities/Skills/Knowledge:

  • Ability to do consistent physical activity, including reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
  • Prior experience with CCC1 or similar estimating software
  • Advanced understanding and knowledge of the repair process and procedures
  • Strong sales orientation and ability to understand instructions
