Job Title: Travel Radiology Technologist
Job Summary:
Planet Healthcare is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a dynamic healthcare setting. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images of patients
- Prepare patients for exams by explaining procedures, positioning patients, and ensuring their comfort and safety
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques, participating in ongoing education and training
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or related modality
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist in a healthcare setting
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing patient care and safety
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach
