Job Overview

The Team Shift Supervisor is entrusted with overseeing all restaurant operations during their shift, stepping in for the General Manager and Manager as needed. This role collaborates closely with the Restaurant Management Team to ensure that all activities align with the restaurant's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
GUEST EXPERIENCE: Ensure a superior product and service experience that guarantees complete Guest satisfaction.
  • Proactively address Guest needs and manage special requests to foster loyalty.
  • Continuously assess restaurant operations to identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Uphold and enforce all Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC) standards.
  • Monitor staffing levels and labor costs while maintaining high QSC standards.
  • Foster a welcoming atmosphere for both employees and Guests.
  • Provide suggestions to management for enhancing Guest service.
TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT: Focus on enhancing the skills and performance of Crew Persons.
  • Effectively train Crew Persons according to established training protocols.
  • Offer regular performance feedback to motivate and elevate Crew Persons' performance.
  • Guide and supervise Crew Persons to maintain productivity and morale.
  • Communicate performance issues to management and document disciplinary actions as necessary.
  • Commit to personal performance improvement.
BUSINESS SUPPORT: Aid in maximizing sales and profits while minimizing controllable costs through effective shift management.
  • Make timely business decisions to ensure exceptional Guest service.
  • Plan, organize, and execute daily operational tasks, completing all required administrative duties.
  • Supervise opening and closing procedures as directed by management.
  • Support the objectives and directives of the Restaurant Management Team.

  • Model and enforce company policies consistently and fairly.

Qualifications:
EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent; strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. Bilingual abilities are a plus.

EXPERIENCE: Completion of the Crew Person Training Program is required. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

TRANSPORTATION: Reliable personal transportation, a valid driver's license, and proof of insurance are necessary.

ACCESSIBILITY: Must have a reliable method of communication with the restaurant.

WORK HOURS: Flexibility to work various shifts, including opening and closing.

  • Lift 50 to 75 pounds.
  • Handle various cleaning products safely.
