Job Summary

As a Healthcare Supervisor at Talent Software Services, you will be responsible for overseeing the nursing staff assigned to your shift. This includes completing performance appraisals in a timely manner, counseling staff, and recommending discipline as needed. You will also be responsible for overseeing and assisting with admissions to and discharges from the facility, making rounds to ensure proper care, and providing direct care as required. Additionally, you will provide support and consultation to the nursing staff on clinical issues, ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures, and oversee daily staff assignments to ensure adequate staffing. You will also participate in the selection of nursing staff, interview and make recommendations regarding hire, and orient new staff. Furthermore, you will assist with the planning and delivery of in-service training for assigned shift, assist in development of policies and procedures, and assist with quality assurance audits. You will also report to and take appropriate actions in emergency situations, contact the Director of Nursing Services and/or Administrator with significant issues, and assist in conducting investigations. Finally, you will actively participate in AMS processes, serve on committees, attend meetings, and complete special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities
