About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Engineer to join our team at IAF: Ohlheiser. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical expertise to drive sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers, including purchasing, engineering, and management personnel.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve annual sales targets, focusing on Controls and Pneumatics components from top vendors such as SMC, Epson, Gast, Baumer, Panasonic, Lenze, and Turck.
  • Visit customer facilities, conduct product demonstrations, and provide technical support to secure sales and expand the customer base.
  • Analyze customer needs, research product information, and respond to inquiries regarding product features, performance, and applications.
  • Travel within the specified New England territory to meet with customers and prospects.
Requirements
  • Proven sales experience in industrial automation, with a strong understanding of Controls and Pneumatics components.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze customer needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
