Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Coordinator to join our team at Daniel Defense LLC. As a Quality Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct regular audits of products and processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures.
  • Identify and record any variances from process and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Participate in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and develop control plans to mitigate risks.
  • Develop and maintain departmental quality procedures and visual standards.
  • Monitor daily non-conformance activity and assist production with problem-solving on quality issues.
  • Participate in the Material Review Board process and conform to all applicable operator work instructions, SOPs, quality, and safety procedures.
  • Assist in the investigation of deviations and aid supervisory personnel and management in undertaking corrective actions or recommendations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 2 years of prior experience as a Quality Auditor or Quality related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Certified in GD&T.
  • Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard.
  • Teamwork and the ability to cooperate and work proactively with others.
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and use sound judgment.
  • Great attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities and work under deadlines and pressure.
Working Conditions

The Quality Coordinator will work in a manufacturing environment, which may include working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, etc. The ability to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy is essential.
