Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician at Walgreens, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist pharmacists in the practice of pharmacy, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Operate pharmacy systems, including cash registers and inventory management software.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on industry developments.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless operations and excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; PTCB certification preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic math skills and accuracy in handling cash and inventory.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods.
