Position Overview

As a Registered Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in fostering relationships with patients, ensuring their needs are met through safe, precise, and effective care, ultimately leading to optimal outcomes for patients, team members, and the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stay informed about the latest medications, therapies, and advancements in the pharmaceutical field.
  • Comply with all company policies, state and federal regulations, including HIPAA guidelines.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with external partners such as healthcare providers and vendors.
  • Meet production targets and uphold quality standards as established by management.
  • Provide training and mentorship to newly hired team members.
  • Administer vaccinations as required.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment for all staff.
  • Ensure accurate replenishment of medication canisters within the system.
  • Exemplify outstanding patient care practices.
  • Verify the accuracy of filled prescriptions in accordance with company quality assurance protocols.
  • Conduct quality checks on all prescriptions to guarantee the correct medication and durable medical equipment are dispensed.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies in prescription orders as needed.
  • Facilitate the transfer of incoming and outgoing prescriptions.
  • Assist the Team Leader in managing inventory and ordering supplies.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile workspace to comply with all relevant regulations.
  • Perform duties of Pharmacy Manager and technician as necessary.
  • Support technicians in understanding prescriptions and third-party billing processes.
  • Complete required documentation and understand the audit procedures.
  • Achieve production metrics and operational objectives.
  • Participate in quarterly Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) meetings.
