Job Summary:

The Lead Bell Person is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Bell/Valet team. This includes ensuring the safe and efficient relocation of guest vehicles to designated parking locations. The Lead Bell Person is also responsible for training, scheduling, and monitoring the performance of all team members. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Guest Services Captain and Guest Services Manager to maximize revenue and minimize expenses while providing exceptional guest service.
  • Communicate effectively with staff to provide direction and ensure seamless operations.
  • Handle guest comments and claims, providing exceptional service and resolution.
  • Observe and evaluate team member performance, celebrating exceptional service and encouraging improvement where needed.
  • Assist in the training and supervision of Guest Services team members.
  • Manage the maintenance and sanitation of the garage to ensure a safe work environment and compliance with regulations.
  • Perform tasks of employees supervised when needed to facilitate service and for training purposes.
  • Act as a driver for company vehicles as needed.
  • Provide exceptional guest service, exceeding expectations at all times.
  • Support the orientation and training of new associates.
  • Focus on providing world-class service for every guest at every opportunity.
  • Train, mentor, and nurture associates to prioritize guest needs.
  • Coordinate the assistance of luggage to and from rooms.
  • Organize team members to respective stations, providing a continuous presence for guest touchpoints and prompt service.
  • Responsible for revenue auditing, verifying that all parking revenue is posted nightly and that the integrity of the department's finances are maintained.
  • Confirm that packages are documented and delivered to respective guests.
  • Ensure the shuttle is operated in accordance with guest needs, with accurate time estimations provided to guests upon request.
  • Complete shift checklists with all tasks completed to the highest standard.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in appearance, demeanor, and performance.
  • Create a positive first impression for guests.
  • Be aware of VIP guests and communicate this to staff.
  • Ensure associates are in 100% compliance with uniform standards.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

Requirements:

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow through on assigned tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and drive production through completion.
  • Ability to work successfully in a team environment.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • At least 1 year's previous supervisory experience required.
  • CO Driver's License preferred, with a satisfactory driving record required.
  • At least 21 years old.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly.
  • Must be comfortable working in an outdoor environment.

The expected pay range is $20.00. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
