The Program Sales and Cushion Rental Associate, under the supervision of the Operations Coordinator, is responsible for selling programs and renting cushions to guests attending events while ensuring accurate cash handling in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare the venue for operational hours.
- Accurately reconcile cash transactions at the sales area, identifying any discrepancies.
- Welcome and assist guests upon arrival.
- Manage the closing procedures for rental areas.
- Maintain precise timekeeping and adhere to designated meal and break policies.
- Support other departments as needed, following supervisor instructions.
- Address a variety of customer service inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
Essential Qualifications:
Demonstrated knowledge or the capacity to swiftly learn:
- Rental policies and operational procedures.
- The layout of the venue and surrounding areas.
- Event schedules and program details.
Required Skills:
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Capability to bend, stand, and walk for the duration of the shift, including navigating hilly terrain and stairs.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds.
A strong commitment to fostering diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace and community interactions is essential. Proficiency in a secondary language is advantageous.
