Construction Management Trainee

Loureiro Engineering Associates is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Management Intern to join our team in Portsmouth, NH. As a Construction Management Intern, you will assist project managers in all aspects of construction projects, including scheduling, quality control, project safety, and cost control.
This is a paid internship opportunity that will provide you with hands-on experience and the chance to work with experienced professionals in the field. You will be responsible for assisting estimators, project managers, and field superintendents throughout all phases of projects, including performing quantity take-offs, soliciting quotes, and preparing project-specific health and safety documents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist project managers in scheduling, quality control, and project safety
- Perform quantity take-offs and solicit quotes from subcontractors and material suppliers
- Prepare project-specific health and safety documents and assist in coordination of self-performed work
- Attend job meetings and assist with various reports, work plans, and schedules
Requirements:
- Junior or Senior attending College or University studying Civil Engineering or Construction Management
- Experience in site/concrete/remediation/building construction project and/or civil engineering experience is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Flexible, well-organized, detail-oriented, and multi-tasking skills
