We are seeking a highly skilled Service Advisor/Writer to join our team at Interstate Companies Inc. in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. As a Service Advisor/Writer, you will play a critical role in our operations, building strong customer relationships and providing exceptional service to our truck and heavy equipment customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist customers at the service counter, by phone, and through our Elite Support processes and standards.
  • Manage technician time and monitor repair progress for maximum efficiency.
  • Work with parts department to gather information for repair estimates and update customers for approval.
  • Collaborate with outside vendors for sublet work needed on customer units.
  • Assist with warranty claims at the branch level and work with the warranty department to ensure maximum warranty recovery with vendors.
Requirements:
  • Basic computer skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think outside the box.
  • 3 years of truck or automotive service writing experience required.
