The Construction Team Leader will take charge of directing the roofing crew, managing project timelines, coordinating material supplies, and ensuring adherence to building and safety regulations. This position requires a proactive leader who can anticipate challenges, creatively resolve issues, and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement safety protocols for all team members and subcontractors, ensuring a secure work environment.
  • Formulate and execute effective strategies for completing tasks in line with project specifications.
  • Oversee the procurement of materials to guarantee timely availability and reduce delays.
  • Manage construction timelines and activities to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant building and safety regulations.
  • Uphold high standards of quality execution, maintaining clean and organized job sites, and promptly returning unused materials.
  • Facilitate clear and effective communication with clients, staff, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Utilize innovative problem-solving skills to proactively address construction and budgetary challenges.
  • Conduct weekly goal-setting and safety discussions with on-site subcontractors.
  • Inspection: Verify all deliveries for quantity and quality, ensuring proper placement at the job site.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by providing timely and professional updates on project progress.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant supervisory experience in roofing or residential construction.
  • In-depth knowledge of roofing practices, tools, terminology, and safety measures.
  • Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
  • Exceptional organizational and leadership capabilities, with a methodical approach to task management.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, with the foresight to identify potential issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to interpret and understand construction documents and plans.
  • Maintain a neat and professional appearance at all times.

Compensation and Benefits:
