Job Title: Construction Project Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Project Engineer to lead our team in delivering top-notch construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring seamless execution and meeting client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Management: Lead and manage project teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, to ensure efficient collaboration and clear communication.
  • Budget and Cost Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost control measures to minimize cost overruns while maintaining project quality.
  • Schedule Adherence: Develop and maintain project schedules, closely monitoring progress and milestones, and address delays promptly to keep projects on track.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction activities meet or exceed quality standards and adhere to relevant codes and regulations.
  • Communication: Maintain open and transparent communication with all project stakeholders, including clients, team members, and regulatory authorities.
  • Permitting and Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all necessary permits and approvals are obtained, and that construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Change Management: Assess and manage changes to project scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate changes effectively to stakeholders.
  • Health and Safety: Prioritize and enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations on the construction site.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including contracts, change orders, progress reports, and financial records.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients by understanding their needs, addressing concerns, and providing exceptional customer service.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager, demonstrating successful project completions on time and within budget.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Thorough understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing circumstances.
