Job Summary

The successful candidate will have a balanced skill set in business development, orchestrating and performing work, and team building. The role will include utilizing Black & Veatch's network of local client directors to meet and market our services to current clients and develop and drive separate project/program opportunities through direct contact with clients. A proven track record of sustained, successful business development is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and capitalize on strategic market trends, develop long-term client relationships, sell across a broad portfolio of offerings, and negotiate and close contracts.
  • Orchestrating and Performing Work: Lead technical specialists and early-career professionals in successful project and task execution.
  • Team Building: Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum total of 12 years of related work experience is typically necessary to move into this level.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent job-related work experience.
  • IAM Certificate in Asset Management, preferred.
  • Professional Engineering registration, preferred.
  • Experience in a client-facing/business development role.
  • Experience leading complex project teams and executing AM projects.
Minimum Qualifications

A minimum total of 10 years of related work experience is typically necessary to move into this level.

Certifications

Industry-recognized credentials preferred as may be available and potentially necessary for job function.
