Job Summary:

The Asset and Operations Manager will oversee the asset management, operations, and maintenance of our solar power generation facilities. This includes performing financial and operational management duties to optimize and maximize the generation of our assets, ensuring short and long-term safety, performance, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee asset management, operations, and maintenance of solar power generation facilities
  • Perform financial and operational management duties to optimize and maximize asset generation
  • Ensure short and long-term safety, performance, and reliability of assets
  • Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage communication with internal and external parties
  • Supervise direct reports
  • Lead continuous improvement of operations and asset management
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or relevant field; Master's degree preferred
  • Seven plus years of experience in solar power plant asset management or operations/maintenance
  • Significant experience in operations or financial management, including contract administration
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with senior management
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Advanced computer operating skills, including Microsoft Office software suite
  • Ability to travel (estimated at 10%)
Desired Attributes:
  • Three plus years of supervisory experience with engineering, operation, and technical staff
  • Familiarity with enterprise-level programs for hardware and software systems for remote data acquisition and control of solar power generation facilities
  • Exposure to and understanding of environmental, health, and safety program management and requirements for power generation facilities
