Medical Care Specialist

Frye Regional Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider in Hickory, NC, serving patients across the lifespan. As a registered nurse on our medical surgical floor, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.
Work Environment:
Our 18-bed medical surgical floor operates on a 12-hour shift schedule, with a staff-to-patient ratio of 1:6. We use CNA's and unit secretaries to support workload management. The ideal candidate will be willing to train and adapt to changing circumstances.

Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, applicants should have a current state RN license and basic life support certification within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS certifications are required within six months of hire. One year of experience is preferred, as is ASLS certification.
