Position Overview

nTech Workforce is seeking five (5) dedicated Data Processing Clerks to work in a mailroom setting. The primary responsibilities include the separation, opening, sorting, and scanning of mail on a daily basis. The clerks will also handle the shipping and receiving of office supplies and materials, which involves weighing and preparing shipments, operating the postage meter, and managing package deliveries both inside and outside the office. This role requires leveraging data entry skills to meticulously track incoming and outgoing materials.

The ideal candidates will be detail-oriented, dependable, and capable of efficiently managing a high volume of data entry and mailroom tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Mailroom Functions:
  • Separate, open, sort, and scan mail on a daily basis.
  • Handle shipping and receiving of office supplies and materials, including weighing and preparing shipments, and operating the postage meter.
  • Manage package pickups and deliveries within and outside the office.
  • Utilize data entry skills to manage and track incoming and outgoing materials.
  • Data Entry Responsibilities:
  • Process claims-related mail, entering essential data such as CPT codes, diagnoses, and ID numbers into the system.
  • Forward entered information to Claims Processors for further review.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry, with an expectation of processing 10 claims within a specified timeframe.

Training Provided

  • One week of training will be conducted, with a schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (schedule may vary).

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry.
  • At least 6 months of experience with mailroom operations, including batching and scanning mail.
  • Advanced data entry skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and capability to coordinate with various stakeholders.
  • Dependable and team-oriented, with a commitment to working onsite.
