Position Overview:

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for orchestrating all elements necessary to successfully complete construction projects within the designated timeline, budget, and quality standards. The PM plays a pivotal role in guiding the project team and serves as the key point of contact between stakeholders, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with HITT's safety protocols and maintain accurate documentation.
  • Develop and oversee project budgets for all assigned initiatives.
  • Collaborate on the creation of pre-construction RFP packages.
  • Facilitate project meetings, establish milestones, and prepare monthly reports for stakeholders.
  • Implement job processes including RFIs, submittals, and payment applications, while managing subcontractor negotiations.
  • Oversee project scheduling, quality control, and logistics throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Efficiently manage the project closeout process.
  • Engage with clients to assess their needs and communicate how our services can fulfill those requirements.
  • Supervise support roles including assistant project managers and safety team members.
  • Work closely with the project superintendent and site operations team to ensure project success.
Qualifications:
  • A high school diploma is required; a four-year degree in construction, engineering, or business is preferred.
  • Additional relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with a general contractor.
  • Demonstrated experience in project management with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in industry-specific software, including Microsoft Office Suite, ProCore, Adobe, and BlueBeam.
  • Strong skills in interpreting and updating construction drawings.
  • Ability to organize resources effectively to meet deadlines and achieve project goals.
  • Awareness of current market trends and pricing conventions.
  • Exhibit leadership qualities and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Demonstrate a proactive approach and a strong sense of responsibility.
