Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time House Cleaner to join our team at Please Assist Me, a fast-growing apartment task service in Washington D.C. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining private residences with extreme attention to detail and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deep Cleaning: Perform all types of deep cleaning duties, including restocking linens, vacuuming rugs and carpets, dusting baseboards, and cleaning mirrors and glass surfaces.
  • Household Chores: Assist with household chores, such as dusting, hand washing dishes, and cleaning kitchen countertops.

Requirements:

  • Ability to follow verbal directions and work well alone and with a teammate.
  • Reliable and punctual with a commitment to doing the job at the highest level.
  • Flexible to changing schedules or routines and excellent time management skills.
  • Pays attention to detail and enjoys cleaning.
  • Organized and able to follow a schedule.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, relevant experience, or knowledge, skills, and mental ability equivalent to two years of high school education.
  • Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during the daily routine, with the ability to stand for long lengths of time.
  • General knowledge of cleaning products, supplies, and techniques for cleaning.
  • Must be available Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 10AM - 5PM, and able to work in DC (NE, SE, NW, and SW).
  • $17.65 per hour.
