Job Overview

We are a dynamic and growing property management company, KCG Companies, seeking a motivated Leasing Specialist with Low-Income Tax Credit and Housing (LITCH) experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market and lease available units to prospective tenants, utilizing effective marketing strategies and techniques.
  • Conduct thorough applicant screenings, including background checks and income verifications, to ensure compliance with LITCH regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of LITCH regulations and compliance requirements, staying current with industry developments and updates.
  • Prepare and process lease agreements in accordance with LITCH guidelines, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective residents, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with property tours and showings, showcasing properties to potential tenants and highlighting their features and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of leasing activities, utilizing property management software to track and analyze data.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Leasing Specialist in the property management industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of Low-Income Tax Credit and Housing (LITCH) regulations, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical and effective manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in property management software, such as Yardi or AppFolio, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
