The Reconstruction Project Manager will oversee and manage the entire project cycle for restoration initiatives. This role involves directing and coordinating all field activities associated with installation teams and any subcontracted services. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining the project schedule throughout its lifecycle and securing any specialized materials, permits, or equipment necessary for project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement reconstruction projects to successful completion
  • Collaborate with estimators to review and manage job estimates
  • Organize and supervise technicians, subcontractors, and tradespeople
  • Coordinate estimates from subcontractors
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and subcontractors
  • Ensure an efficient and accurate flow of production documentation
  • Order project materials and manage their delivery to the job site
  • Monitor materials usage to stay within budget and project scope
  • Achieve profitability targets on managed projects
  • Maintain effective communication with clients and all stakeholders, including third-party owners, building engineers, property managers, and tenants
  • Conduct property inspections and prepare reports

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the restoration or construction field
  • IICRC or other industry-specific certifications are preferred
  • Strong communication, customer service, organizational, and prioritization skills (detail-oriented)
  • Experience with financial reporting, budgeting, and profitability management
  • Familiarity with Xactimate software is advantageous
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues independently
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and accountable
  • Must pass a background check and maintain a clean driving record
