About the Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Insurance Sales Agent to drive new business sales in property & casualty and health insurance lines, achieving or exceeding sales targets. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with business owners, cooperative members, and prospects through on-site visits and strategic partnerships with internal Account Executives and Account Managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive new business sales in property & casualty and health insurance lines, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Meet with business owners, cooperative members, and prospects to assess their needs and present tailored insurance solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless sales processes and exceptional client service.
  • Develop and implement strategies for client acquisition and retention, staying informed of market trends.
  • Actively participate in local events and engage in community leadership to build brand awareness and foster relationships.

Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, with a focus on insurance or business development.
  • Agricultural background or familiarity with rural communities is a plus.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
  • Must have or be willing to obtain a property & casualty insurance license within 90 days of hire and a life/health insurance license within 30 days.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (75-100%).
