Job Title: Automotive Contracts Clerk

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Contracts Clerk to join our team at Livermore Ford Lincoln Alfa Romeo Maserati. As an Automotive Contracts Clerk, you will be responsible for processing new and used vehicles for registration, processing contracts and related vehicle sales documentation, and verifying funds and lien holders.

Responsibilities:

  • Process all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.
  • Process contracts and related vehicle sales documentation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Verify that funds have been collected and the correct lien holder paid off before processing title applications for DMV processing.
  • Check for accuracy in the application and ensure that all information is complete.
  • Prepare payoff checks for new vehicles and trade-ins.
  • Collect vehicle receivables.
  • Respond to customer inquiries.
  • Maintain and reconcile schedules.
  • Perform other duties as assigned and work closely with Office Manager/Controller.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency using DMS Systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
  • Must be able to follow very specific deadlines.
  • Compliance driven.
