Job Title: Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor and Group Facilitator

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor and Group Facilitator to join our team at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide behavioral health counseling services to patients and facilitate group therapy sessions to promote healing and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide behavioral health counseling services to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
  • Administer individual and group therapy sessions, maintaining thorough and confidential records of observations.
  • Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions, providing patients with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.
  • Work directly with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure active and collaborative care from initiation to discharge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology required.
  • Masters degree strongly preferred.
  • License strongly preferred: LPC, LSW, LCPC, LCSW.
  • Previous experience working in higher levels of care preferred (IOP, PHP, RTC, Inpt).
