We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Counselor to join our team at Ascension Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital. As a Behavioral Health Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide behavioral health counseling services to patients, including individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient observations and progress.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of therapy interventions and make adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with patients, family members, physicians, and community providers to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Behavioral Science, Social Science, or Psychology required.
  • Additional preferences include experience working in a behavioral health setting and a strong understanding of evidence-based therapies.
