About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Aftermarket Sales Representative to join our team at Seakeeper Inc. as a key contributor to our Gulf Coast territory. As a member of our Sales and Support team, you will play a critical role in driving the growth and success of our Seakeeper Ride business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Regional Sales Strategy: Assist in creating and executing a sales strategy to increase market share and drive revenue growth in the Gulf Coast territory.
  • Build and Maintain Dealer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with existing dealers and distributors, while identifying new business opportunities and partnerships to expand our network.
  • Support Product Introduction and Integration: Collaborate with our National Aftermarket Sales Manager to introduce and integrate new products and features with our dealer network.
  • Co-op Marketing and Event Planning: Work with our marketing team to develop co-op marketing plans and attend dealer events to promote the Seakeeper Ride brand.
  • CRM Management and Account Visits: Manage and maintain dealer contacts in our internal CRM system, NetSuite, and conduct regular account visits to ensure strong relationships and identify new opportunities.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or Related Field: A degree in business or a related field is required, with a minimum of one year of experience selling to dealers or distributors in a sales-related role.
  • Marine Technical Experience: A minimum of one year of experience in the marine industry, with a strong understanding of vessel systems operations.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional customer service, interpersonal skills, and an empathetic style are essential for success in this role.
  • Strong Presentation and Written Communication Skills: The ability to create professional presentations and written reports using Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CRM Experience: Experience using a CRM system, such as NetSuite, or a similar related system.
  • Mass Distribution and MAP Policies: Experience with mass distribution and MAP policies is a plus.
