OSP Engineer III Job Description

Mountain Ltd. is seeking an experienced OSP Engineer III to join our team in the Beaverton, OR area. As an OSP Engineer III, you will be responsible for performing detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks, including estimating, analyzing, designing, planning, and budget tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and interpret engineering plans, drawings, and reports
  • Design and plan field-mounted switch serving areas
  • Perform pole, conduit, and buried facility design measurements
  • Develop and track job budgets
  • Conduct periodic job inspections and quality control

Requirements:

  • Expert knowledge of COE/OSP principles, work order procedures, and voice/data industry standards
  • Ability to identify existing voice/data plant, electric, and other utilities on site plans and in the field
  • Experience managing other OSP Engineers and reviewing/correcting their projects
  • Expert knowledge of obtaining right of ways and easements where required
