We are in search of a Senior Scientist, Macrocycle Innovation to implement cutting-edge de novo design techniques for the computational discovery, development, and assessment of therapeutic macrocycles. As a vital member of our design team, you will utilize your expertise in advanced protein design methodologies to enhance Vilya's existing design capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate: Engage with cross-functional teams in the exploration and advancement of macrocyclic compounds, ensuring efficacy, selectivity, and in vivo stability through structure-guided strategies.
  • Implement: Utilize individual methodologies and integrated workflows to generate extensive libraries of virtual macrocycles for screening, while evaluating smaller sets of the most promising candidates to prioritize further development.
  • Analyze: Examine data from both experimental and computational assays to refine methodologies within Vilya's therapeutic discovery framework.
  • Innovate: Enhance Vilya's computational design capabilities by developing state-of-the-art de novo design protocols.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in chemistry, biochemistry, computational biology, or related fields that intersect computation, medicinal chemistry, and drug discovery.
  • Familiarity with tools such as RosettaFold, RFDiffusion, AlphaFold, or Rosetta.
  • Extensive practical experience with parallel job execution and high-performance computing environments.
  • Proficiency in high-level programming languages, particularly Python.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team setting.
