Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Charleston Southern University. This is a full-time position responsible for providing administrative support to our graduate programs, including coordinating events, managing databases, and communicating with students and faculty.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate events, such as Graduate Education Mixers and recruiting fairs, to promote our graduate programs
  • Manage databases, including student enrollment and registration processes, to ensure accurate and up-to-date information
  • Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff to provide excellent customer service
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Department Chair, Coordinators, Assistant Dean, and Dean of the College of Education
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field, preferably in education or business administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in an educational setting
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows, including relational databases
  • Previous experience working in an education setting is preferred
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Charleston Southern University offers a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
