To elevate the visual representation of Wantable's offerings through expert styling and arrangement of merchandise for off-figure photography. Responsible for both the technical and aesthetic aspects of styling during photo sessions. Owns the complete styling process. Manages all studio and location set styling to ensure successful outcomes.

This position aims to guarantee that all product images embody the brand's aesthetic and resonate with our target audience, fostering engagement and driving sales.


Job Description:


The Product Styling Specialist at Wantable will take charge of styling products for off-figure photography sessions, including flat lays, on-form, as well as prop/product styling for silo/on white, tabletop, and lifestyle settings.

This role requires close collaboration with photographers and the creative team to generate high-quality images that align with the identities of all Wantable brands.


The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in flat lay styling, with some experience in on-figure styling, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail, composition, and overall aesthetics.

Experience in various photo production techniques, including lay down product photography, on-figure marketing, and marketing photography across categories such as style, sportswear, and sleep & body is essential.

Success in this role involves working efficiently and nimbly, staying ahead of trends, and having a solid understanding of retail/apparel and digital marketing.

Your responsibilities will include delivering top-quality visual content across all marketing channels, utilizing data-driven insights to integrate and iterate new and innovative ideas.

Styling:


Accountable for styling clothing, accessories, and other products for flat lay photo and video shoots to effectively achieve desired creative outcomes.

Create visually appealing flat lays, ghost mannequin images, and other product arrangements.

Ensure that products are styled to accentuate key features and maintain brand consistency.

Shoot Preparation:


Preparing merchandise, collaborating with Producers and Photographers, and working closely with various merchandisers to achieve sharp, brand-focused imagery in line with brand standards.

Select and organize products, props, and backgrounds needed for each shoot.

Maintain an organized and efficient styling and prop area.

Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of workflow, including prioritization, planning, and task delegation under tight deadlines.

Maintain styling and merchandise organization for efficient in-studio and/or on-location shoot setups.

Communicate new or refreshed prop needs to the Production team.

Creative Input:
Provide creative insights and ideas to enhance the visual appeal of product images.

Stay updated with current styling trends and techniques.

Experiment with new styling concepts to keep the brand's imagery fresh and engaging.

Keep up to date with trends in fashion and retail.

Quality Control:
Ensure that all styled images meet the highest quality standards.

Prioritize key brand initiatives and hero products, striking a balance between visually striking aesthetics and key merchandise strategies.


Ensure the timing of samples/products being used aligns with marketing go-live dates to guarantee product availability at the time the image is presented to customers.

Review and adjust styling during shoots to achieve optimal results.

Collaborate with retouchers to ensure final images are polished and professional.

Collaboration:


Work closely with photographers, art directors, and other members of the creative team to ensure that all product images reflect the brand's aesthetic and appeal to our target customers, driving engagement and sales.

Ensure seamless coordination between styling and photography to meet production schedules.

Collaborate with the production and sample teams to provide guidance with shot cadence for daily on-set efficiencies.

Communicate effectively to align styling with the overall brand strategy.

Maintain close communication with Studio Partners and/or merchants to forecast and resolve sample issues.

Expected Outcomes:

Brand Consistency:
Achieve a cohesive and visually appealing representation of Wantable's products across all off-figure photography.

Engagement Metrics:
Contribute to increased customer engagement and sales through high-quality product styling. Aim to achieve over a 0.4% on ads and reels that generate views above the current benchmark.

Process Efficiency:
Streamline the styling process to maximize productivity and creativity while maintaining quality.

Requirements

Location:

Based in Milwaukee with the ability to work at the Wantable photo studio and various shoot locations as needed.


Experience:
Proven track record in styling within the fashion or retail industry, with a focus on off-figure photography.

Technical

Skills:
Proficiency in styling techniques for flat lays, ghost mannequins, and creative product arrangements. Familiarity with Google business tools and basic digital marketing expertise is required.

Qualifications:

Experience:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the fashion retail sector.

Portfolio:
Demonstrable experience in producing high-quality visual content.

Availability:
Available to work in Milwaukee M-F with flexibility for occasional travel.

This role reports to the Photo Art Director.
