About the Role

Key Responsibilities
  • Baking and Frying Duties: Prepare and cook deli products according to production schedules and quality standards.
  • Product Preparation: Price, date, wrap, and bag deli products to ensure they are presented in an attractive and appealing manner.
  • Merchandising: Properly fill, rotate, inspect, and merchandise deli shelves, cases, and displays to maintain a visually appealing store environment.
  • Inventory Management: Notify the Deli Manager when products and supplies need to be ordered to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Receiving and Stocking: Assist in receiving, unloading, and stocking merchandise to ensure efficient and accurate inventory management.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarize yourself with all products carried in the deli department, including differences in price, taste, preparation, and use.
  • Quality Control: Handle spoiled or damaged products according to established guidelines to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department, adhering to all PPE and safety guidelines.
  • Guest Experience: Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive guest experience by following all guest experience guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: One year of retail or related experience preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents; basic mathematical skills; and attention to detail.
