We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Talent Acquisition Specialist for a 6-month contract role. This position offers a unique chance for a recruiter with strong business insight and the ability to influence and navigate organizational dynamics, allowing for professional growth in leadership and specialized recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment Execution

  • Conduct thorough applicant evaluations and screenings to identify top candidates for various positions.
  • Promote diversity by recommending a varied slate of candidates to hiring teams.
  • Implement recruitment best practices and achieve key performance metrics.
  • Source candidates for challenging roles using diverse platforms and strategies.
  • Prepare interviewers with the necessary resources for effective and equitable candidate assessments.
  • Extend offers to candidates, ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process.

Business Insight & Analysis

  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to shape effective talent acquisition strategies.
  • Leverage talent analytics and data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Evaluate recruitment effectiveness, define objectives, and analyze trends.

Strategic Collaboration

  • Understand MSK's strategic objectives and work with hiring managers to identify essential skill gaps.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships across the organization to drive recruitment success.

Adaptability & Innovation

  • Embrace change, acquire new skills, and contribute innovative ideas to enhance recruitment strategies.
  • Explore new technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Internal Development

Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of comprehensive recruiting experience in a startup, agency, or large, matrixed organization; proven ability to navigate various recruitment types (high volume, niche, corporate, clinical, or nonclinical).
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical skills and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, applicant tracking systems, and sourcing tools; familiarity with Workday is a plus.
  • Demonstrated project management, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Able to build relationships at all levels, collaborate effectively, and manage time efficiently.
  • Data-driven, curious, creative, and committed to continuous learning and adaptation.

Additional Information:

Note: This is a full-time 6-month contract position with the potential for extension based on performance and organizational needs.

Compensation: $40-44/hr
